E] Zirconium          Oxychloride :

ZrOCl2.8H2O—White Crystals heated to 150°C loose  6water molecules. It dissolves in water, methyl alcohol ether. The aqueous solution is acidic.

It is used for making other Zirconium compounds. It is used as additive, water proof, fire proof material & has use in the area of ceramic & optical glass industries.
